DaemonLayer is a software product owned and operated by Silent Signal Ltd, a company incorporated in England and Wales, trading as DaemonLayer. References to “DaemonLayer”, “we”, “us”, or “our” refer to Silent Signal Ltd.
This policy applies to business users of the DaemonLayer platform and to visitors of our website.
1.1. When providing the DaemonLayer platform, we act as a data processor on behalf of our customers.
1.2. Managed Service Providers using DaemonLayer act as data controllers with respect to personal data processed through their configurations and integrations.
1.3. For personal data relating to our own business operations, including account management, billing, and support communications, we act as data controller.

5.5. Customer data submitted through the platform, including personal and operational information in tickets, may be processed by AI services deployed within our EU and UK tenant environments to enable automation, triage, and analytics features. No data is used to train third-party AI models outside the scope of the service.
6.1. We do not sell or rent personal data.
6.2. We may share limited customer data with trusted subprocessors such as infrastructure providers and AI services for the purposes of operating the platform. All subprocessors are contractually obliged to safeguard the data and process it solely for providing our services, in compliance with GDPR and UK GDPR.
6.3. A list of subprocessors may be provided upon request.
6.4. We may disclose information where required by law or valid legal process.
7.1. Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
7.2. Upon termination of the service, customer data is deleted from production systems in accordance with our Terms and backup retention practices.
